Media Player Classic Homecinema includes a huge amount of codecs which makes the player to be able to play a lot of formats, like WAV, WMA, MP3, OGG, SND, AU, AIF, AIFC, AIFF, MIDI, MPEG, MPG, MP2, VOB, AC3, DTS, ASX, M3U, PLS, WAX, ASF, WM, WMA, WMV, AVI, CDA, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, D2V, MP4, SWF, MOV and QT.
Based on the Classic project, it has interesting modifications that affect mainly to the compatibility with Windows Vista, an EVR number of rendered, improvements in the audio, etc.
Now, it is launched in the market as completely saturated and it expect to make a hole thanks to the news that includes, like the elimination of the tearing effect, the incorporation of new codifiers of video like H.264 and VC-1 that includes the modern support for the technology DXVA or Direct Video Acceleration.
We can say that it still has the appearance of the original version but that its inner functions have been more than renewed.

It is fast and light, it consumes little resources, it is versatile in the reproduction of images, it reads all video formats and it has other features in subtitles and codecs, and also in VCDs and DVDs, and I think other things that escape me are a pity that they leave it to update.

In my opinion the best player and in a moment he did so much shade they threw WMP to kill, but simple is fabulous and has many turns.
The best: Simple, good image, I played all captures you, can see several videos at once and take it wherever you want and it works
The worst: This referred to the WMP but if left alone it will eat the windows media I hope you do not let it die
