Record, edit, manage and do what you want with your audio files is really simple with this program as it has a clear interface which will help us to work much better. Also, it allows the basic commands of edition: cut (Ctrl+X), copy(Ctrl+C), paste(Ctrl+V), undo (Ctrl+Z).
To know if the format goes in really loud, if the microphone is too close form the other person of if the audio that has been captured has the important features, it includes an amplifier editor, an spectrogram and a frequency analyzer that are implemented in it.
You can use Audacity to:
- Work with different tracks.
- Record sounds life using a microphone or a mixer: records and edits samples of 16 bits, 24 bits and 32 bits and up to a maximum of 96 kHz.
- Convert recordings to digital formats or CD (the frequency and format samples are converted through a high quality process).
- Edit files Ogg Vorbis, MP3 y WAV.
- Cut, copy, paste, join and mix sounds.

I believe that it serves as a learning program, it is that although its functions are quite useful, although they lack some more advanced ones so that the results are professional and of quality, but in general they are usually quite good, as an intermediate step to learn other programs. of greater complexity.

Audacity is a fairly simple program for sound editing, working with layers that is very good, and it is also free. Personally, it works quite well for me as an editor, especially for editing voices, since the audio tracks are still difficult for me.

I like the app I have had some better different apps but they are very complicated and this app works a lot for me, I have been using it for around 10 years and if it lacks functions but I would not change it for any until now.
