The new version of Microsoft includes all what you need: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and many more.
Although this version is not as innovative as was its predecessor, Microsoft Office 2007, which meant a huge difference before and after it, it has been able to consolidate many changes and also has added some more new aspects, all of them useful. In more specific aspects of Word , for example, this version incompletely improved in aspects like the capture and image processing, which is being added as well as a translation tool that before could only be used after adding the add-on for Windows Live Translator. It also offers us the ability to save documents directly in PDF or ODF format, which was not possible in the former versions.
PowerPoint, though, is not far behind in the changes that have taken place in this software. In this case, the developers have added new transitions and they are easier to work with embedded videos that we may want to use in our presentations. In Excel, the highlight comes with the user-defined functions (UDFs ), which are able to solve all kinds of computation intensive problems. Also, the functions can be executed asynchronously to download the processor and, thus, allowing the execution of other processes at the same time. Micrographs and preview before confirming operations are also new improvements that have been added to the improved Excel.
Outlook, on its side, provides the user with faster accesses and it is intuitive and natural, so all users can use it without having to think where to find the options.
The Microsoft Office 2010 suite is them formed by many different programs: Access, Excel, InfoPath , OneNote , Outlook , PowerPoint , Publisher , SharePoint , Word and Communicator. This is what makes this program the most complete one when we think about office suites.
