An IDE multiplatform for the programming of C and C++ languages.
Review by Frank B.
CodeLite is a development area for programmers working with C and C++ looking to make the process easier and to increase productivity through multiple tabs, tools and autocomplete features for writing the code. A number of features stand out in this open source IDE multiplatform with which to leave the commercial environments behind in the programming for Windows.
However, these facilities for managing CodeLite do not arrive immediately after download. In order to be able to install the programme, we need to complete the MinGW installation manual, which will perform the complier functions, and of GDB, the debugger, a process which can end up being quite tedious if we do not have sufficient know-how. Luckily, once this task and the specificiation of the routes in the different menus has been performed, it all becomes far easier.
CodeLite stands out for its high number of tabs and side panels, in which many of the features and tools are found that you will need during the development process and writing in C and C++.code.
