that you can have at your avail for any queries in search of synonyms, definitions and antonyms.
But it is not just any dictionary, its design arises from a semantic and conceptual relationship between the words it contains.
One of the features which differentiates WordNet from other dictionaries of synonyms, is its disambiguation that allows the difference between words which, although there seems to be a relationship between them, have different connotations.
It is classified into 4 grammatical categories because each one of the categories has different linguistic rules which are: adverbs, adjectives, verbs and nouns.
In order for us to grasp and completely understand the definitions, WordNet includes example sentences in which the particular word is used. This dictionary has been created by the University of Princeton and has been funded extensively for its importance in the study of this language.
