Have enabled four desktops I think is ideal, more desktops unused. The figure of four desktops allows us to have open windows in each of them and work in different areas. Keyboard shortcuts are really important because you have to lose no time in changing keyboard to mouse. With shortcuts the user may be typing and easily from one switch to another desktop.
