This update is really worthwile, not only for its performance improvements, but also for its advances in usability. Enterprise 8.1 Preview is like Windows 8.1 for home users, but with the addition of certain programs and services like these:
- Windows To Go Creator: app to take your Windows 8 with you trough portable devices.
- Control home screen, so employees have faster access and can have the desired apps (and only these).
- BranchCache: employees can access information from local servers even if they are in remote computer.
- Applocker security encryption
Enterprise 8.1 Preview Windows brings all the improvements in usability of the domestic version, with aspects that users had long been asking for. For example, the return of the Start Button and the capability of skip the Modern UI screen.
