UltraStar is a free clone for PC of PlayStation's Singstar. Those who already know this mythical saga will be able to imagine what the game is about: this game will not only turns your computer into an amusing karaoke but it will also rate you each time you sing.


The software performs, using an algorithm, an analysis of your voice as if it were a tuning fork and it rates you in terms of voice quality, in this way you can interpret your favourite songs while you see your progress. While you are singing, a number of bars will appear on the screen indicating you if the tone is appropriated and, at the same time, other bars will indicate you which musical note is interpreting your voice. In this way you can correct what you are doing wrong and sing more high-pitched or more bass according to what is needed on each moment.


The main advantage of this video game is that the program is made with open source, in this way everybody can create their own files to sing them.


You can join communities and forums to share new songs that you have created, organize competitions with your friends, and most importantly, enjoy emulating your favourite singers and improve your intonation with this app.
