Parted Magic

Parted Magic is a GNU/Linux distribution with LiveCD type, with which users can change the size, create, delete, move or copy partitions, in Windows (fat16, fat32 or NTFS) or in GNU/Linux (ext2, reiserfs, ext3, and so on). This application runs based on the VisParted program and it also includes, some utilities of disk.

This application could be download from Internet and, when you have it in your computer, you must decompress the zip files in one folder you have in your computer. You will obtain a iso files which contains an image of a CD and, for using it, you will need to restore this image to a CD using a CD recorder program.

For starting use PartedMagic, you must restart the computer from the copied CD and, from this; you can manage all partitions that your computer have. When you have this CD, you can use this program in any computer, you only have to restart with the CD.
