The main function of Encore, transcribe to a pentagram a MIDI file, is very useful to have the score in a pieces. But, it is also very useful for those who, without having notions of music writing, can create their themes, save them in a MIDI file and get the transcription of the rhythm and melody in a score to be able to publish it, register it or to distribute it.
In another sense, all those who have writing knowledge and need a program to write their compositions directly in digital format, Encore offers them all the facilities so composing in their computer is as easy as to write notes hand-made. Besides, the composition in a digital mean will allow users to go back, correct, add all what they need and with much ease than what we have with a normal sheet of paper and they will also be able to listen to their progresses in a single click.
Encore is a very complete program that also includes advanced options as editable expression palettes. Finally, you have a lot of options to register your composition. You can export ot to a MIDI file or to a XML, print them, save templates to use in different ways later, etc. However, a lot of these options are limited in the trial version of the program.

I have been working with ENCORE sporadically for a long time when it was still published in English. Now that it's in Spanish, it's much easier.

I am a regular user of Encore, a very friendly studio musicians and especially for arrangers program because it simplifies and speeds up the work.
