CDisplayEx is the project that contnues making a revolution in the field of digital comics reader CDisplay. The ones who already knew this software will probably be interested in this new version which has many new improvements to offer a better experience to users. For those who have never used this program, they have to know that CDisplayEx is a comic reader really practical and easy that, even when it does not have more advanced options, the truth is that it has all what we need to enjoy reading our comics in our screen.
CDisplayEx uses the popular 7-zip plugins to read many different kind of files. Of course, this utility works with common formats of digital comics, like CBR y CBZ, and with other compressed ones, like CBT, RAR, ZIP, TAR, 7Z, IZH, ARJ, CAB, TAR.GZ and TAR.BZ2. Moreover, it can also read all the images that are in formats like JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIFT.
The reader opens the comics in full screen, but you can watch at them in windows with the W key. This and the rest of the shortcuts can be modified as you like. If the comic that you want is not in a comofortable layout to be read comfortably, CDisplayEx offers many otions to improve the way of reading it. You can have it in double pages, rotate the pages if they are not in the right position and edit the colors and the sharpness to be able to read all the time you want without damaging your sight. Also, it offers the possibility to add subtitles through OpenOffice.
