Bugzilla is a bug tracking system originally developed by Mozilla Foundation for Firefox browser. But now is an open source project supported and used by hundreds of software projects.

Detect and handle errors and bugs that appear in a web or software development, in an easy and comfortable way. To obtain the error's list and changelog you only need two elements: a web browser and an account on your own server.

Bugzilla also includes a powerful search engine and a good support service. User accounts are customizable but main panel is not very modifiable. To run Bugzilla you need an SQL database.

These are the key features of this software:

  • Optimised database structure for high high performance and scalability.
  • Excellent security to protect confidentiality.
  • Advanced search tool that can remember our searches.
  • Integrated e-mail capabilities.
  • Editable profiles and email preferences.
  • Tested in Mozilla bug's tracking system.
  • Uptades via RSS.

Bugzilla is the bug tracking system of NASA, Red Hat and Gnome, a demomnstration of his reliability and usefulness.
