8BitMMO is a curious MMO game in 2D of the most retro and simple that you can imagine. Such is so that its creator affirms that it could possibility work even in a 'toaster'.

However, it has a great powerful inside as a huge sandbox for building; a complete and persistent online world in which we will be able to build all what we want: castles, palaces, ships and even your own city. All the amazing and huge world is created by the users: every dungeon, building, etc, and there is a lot of space so we can create all what we want. A space that increases as you keep on playing and more players install the game.

There are a lot of activities to do, like convert yourself in a zombie and more common ones, like to just build and live as well as interact with the elements. Some of them are funnier and some other is just common. As an indie game (with just a single creator in real time in its beginnings) the development is shared with the community and the changes and improvements that have more support are implemented in each update that is made.

You will be able to customize your character and protect your objects from being stolen by other players, as well as to fight against beasts like the lawyer cats. As you can see, 8BitMMO is full of humor and, while it is being developed, it a complete white canvas that we can fill with our creativity.
