USB Network Gate

USB Network Gate for Windows allows you to share and access USB devices over network. This utility intercepts port activity of a shared USB device and redirects it over TCP/IP – once you plug in a USB device into your computer and share it, it automatically appears on other machines in the network.

This provides easy access to devices such as printers, scanners, web-cameras, etc., to all users in the network, no matter whether they are – in the next cubicle or on the opposite side of the globe.

The number of USB devices you can connect to your PC is practically unlimited. You have an option to set up authorization request to restrict remote access. USB Network Gate enables connecting USB devices to virtual machine or blade server. Once you install the app on a guest operating system you can access USB peripherals from a remote virtual desktop right away.

The tool can be used for special purposes, e.g. a web-cam can function as a surveillance solution capturing video in real time; or it may be handy when you work on a computer, where USB ports are damaged or missing.
