Minecraft (Snapshot Pre-release) snapshot prerelease

Do you want to be up to date with the latest as far as Minecraft is concerned? Do you want to try the latest improvements and novelties in Minecraft before everyone else? One of the best things about Minecraft is that it grows with the times, and each new update includes a multitude of improvements and additions which make the game even better. You only have to see how Minecraft has changed Minecraft since the first version of the game... where others offer these changes as a sequel, Mojang has decided to offer the new content free of charge. You don't have to hack anything, as Mojang itself sees fit to offer the 'Snapshots' to the public; these are small updates for the popular Minecraft game, which allow us to test its new features, 'just out of the oven'.

The aim is for users to try out this beta species before the official launch of the next versions, and we should give our opinion of it to the people at Mojang. These changes are not arbitrary, as in the majority they are supported by the community from before the official launch of a new version. To help in the process, Mojang usually offers versions in development from their latest updates, as a way of obtaining the support and the expectations of players. These versions are known as 'snapshots & pre-releases'. These versions are public, optional and are not automatically installed. If you are not afraid of bugs and lack of stability (because this is a version under development), I will tell you how to install the pre-release file: Simply download the .JAR file that we offer you, and put it into your .minecraft/bin/ directory. Replace it without fear and start Minecraft as usual.    

But for us, the impatient players, it also gives us an excellent opportunity to update our game with the newest from Minecraft... What will there be this time...? New objects, fearful enemies, more modes and functions?

Installing the snapshot is very easy, only download the JAR file that we offer and put it into your Minecraft BIN. For multi-player servers there is a specific file.
