We present you an interesting program that makes the role of a virtual math tutor.
Review by Allie M.
LotaMath was designed with the idea of being a math tutor for users interested in reviewing or improving mental arithmetic or math questions.
It has an interface that does not attract so much due to his not very nice khaki color. The screen is divided into two parts. In the lower part shows us the username, the number of hits, the gameplay, the time spent on each operation and the overall. The rest of the screen is used to show the operation to perform and write the correct answer.
The player must write the correct answer because if there was an error the program will never give the correct result. In order to go to the game options there is no menu or tab, you will have to access them by clicking the right mouse button.
LotaMath fits perfectly to all ages as includes seven difficulty levels and different operations: multiplication, addition, division, subtraction and squared numbers. It also has the option mixed, combining the first four operations we have mentioned. In total can be achieved to 1051 points divided between different levels, giving more value to the most difficult.
Another interesting option is the number of questions per game. The program allows us to choose between 10,20,50 or 100 There are also some other small settings such as the type of signs to indicate operations or the opaqueness of the screen. This simple application takes up little disk space and has a very quick installation.
