With this program named gretl, you can econometrically analyze the programming language C, modify this version or redistribute, because it is GNU licensed software.
Technical details:
Gretl cans work with the following data formats: XML, Excel, Open Document, Stata data, Gnumeric, CSV, SPSS sav files, Eviews files, JMulti files and its format of binary origin, which can accept mixed lengths of the series and mixed data frequencies. In addition, it includes a data base of macroeconomic of EEUU.
Technical details:
- Its interface has a lot of different languages: English, French, Spanish, Basque, and so on.
- Least squares, GMM estimates, maximum likelihood, of an equation or a system of equations.
- Direct link with GNU R, GNU Octave or Ox.
- You can introduce orders with dash or by menus. Language of programming with scripts.
- It gives you graphical representation by Gnuplot, with a graphic management and with fine adjustment.
