Eclipse

Eclipse is is a complete programming environment (IDE) for COBOL, Scheme, Java, Ruby, C++, PHP, C, Scala, Python and Perl which also includes the Ruby on Rails framework. This environment has a code editor, and it also gives you the possibility to create breakpoints, test apps, etc. Moreover, users have the option to personalize the installation of several plugins, according to their needs, and they will also have various development tools that will help them to perform specific tasks.


This environment is composed of all kinds of options so that you can develop your projects. The starting point of a project is named Workspace and in this folder is where everything developed for the project will be stored: subfolders, generation of classes, interfaces, etc. This app also keeps the user informed of its development through multiple windows of information that form its interface and through which the user will be able to access to all the information that has been generated on its use.
