Main functions and features of CDex
- Allows the conversion process globally and simultaneously, in case you want to convert entire disks, or individually, choosing the songs personally.
- The conversion process to MP3 format is performed directly, that is to say, it is not necessary to first convert them to another format such as WAV and after that to MP3, as was done previously.
- This app has the ability to use other encoders and it allows you to design playlists, besides being able to import and obtain information from CDDB (CD DataBase) to edit tags.
- It presents a quite outdated graphical environment.

After trying several similar programs, I find this one that meets all my expectations (rips CDs and converts audio files between multiple formats). Being a GNU licensed program, the first thing I have done is test it, see that it works correctly and make a small donation to the author to help him in its maintenance and development. As I say, I have tried many alternatives and this one surpasses all of them. Totally recommended.
