Android Device Manager is a service launched by Google that helps you to locate your phone or tablet. Also it offers some actions to react to the loss or theft.
When you enter in Android Device Manager you'll see a Google Maps style interface with an entire world map. If you have signed in with a Google account, this service will send a signal to locate your mobile anywhere on the map. Once it locates the device, this software offers you two options:
- Make your phone or tablet performs a ringtone for 5 minutes. This will happen at maximum volume even if it is in mute. Is useful to locate a mobile or to show everyone who's the thief.
- Delete all data remotely. If you are sure that it has been stolen, you can erase all your personal information so thieves can't use it.
